We were introduced the seller of this prize through a mutual friend. This Catalina 2+2 comes with its original 421ci HO Tri-power and 4 speed manual. It is believed that only 5,316 2+2’s were built in 1965 with the 4 speed option. A reasonable guess is that only 50-100 of those were built as a black-on-black 421 HO.
The seller had purchased it in 1999, having noticed an overgrown carcass from the nearby highway!
