In our hunt for parts, we found this Suburban out on Facebook Marketplace.
We’re hoping the 350 in this engine can be put in the Jimmy… might involve moving over the ECU and the harness as well. We hope to use the power rear window. The mirrors are in good shape, as are lot of the interior trim pieces.
Everything has been removed from the front. A compression test of the engine showed it’s great. We confirmed that the ECU is best to go with the engine, as the wiring harness is different, so we will rip the harness out.
The dashboard was in pretty good shape, although the actual dash trim is garbage. But the gauges and the instrument components are good.
