We’re going to clean up the firewall, move the AC/heater under the dash, move the battery. This is so the engine bay looks clean.
We prepped the cab for Chris to take to his shop at Complete Auto Repair.
He TIG welded with silicon bronze. The silicon bronze requires less temperature to melt, leading to less warpage.
After sanding and priming, you can begin to see just how clean it will become.
The finished article! We painted it black for a nice, clean look under the hood.
The wiring harness and electronic accelerator are installed.
