We ordered a GT-Sport chassis from Art Morrison, designed for 1964-72 Chevelle and other A-Body cars. Well known for high performance chassis for classic cars, AME’s design includes a unique inner angled frame rail that tucks right under the floor pan, reducing the amount of frame visible from under the car.
As a bonus, Art Morrison is a 30 minute drive from our place!
We picked up the frame while some components (e.g. coilover springs) are back ordered.
With some blocking and spacers for the backordered parts, we can work on fitting it for the body, adjusting as necessary. Once we are happy with the fit, we will send the frame off for powder coating.
